Floating market table

The elegant dining table in the shape of a water lilly was custom-made for Domaine Cochrane in Beirut to act as a central pivot around which the various spaces of the house are organized.

The half orange, half yellow table top has a high-shine lacquered finish. Its shimmering surface is a contemporary take on the reflecting pool, a centuries-old Arabic design element often found in Middle Eastern homes.
